Show at Rockwood Stage 2 Jan 19!

Ahh! This is two weeks from today – we’re stoked to finally play Rockwood’s gorgeous Stage 2! We’re having my dear friend Theo Katzman join us on bass and vocals with us for the first time, along with the usual suspects Tomek Miernowski on guitar, Dave “EmoDave” Scalia on drums, and Megan Flossy Cox on keys and vocals. We’ll be debuting some NEVER BEFORE HEARD songs from our new record as well. You want to come to this show.

T-3 days until record time.

Wow! I guess it’s been a minute since I last updated. Happy fall everyone!

Last night Tomek, my good friend, producer in crime and rhubarb tea brewer extraordinaire and I had a couple beers (as in, collectively between the two of us – he had both of them) got out our guitars, and finished up what will be the final addition to the batch of songs we’ve been working on for so long that will comprise our upcoming record. Our first day in the studio is this coming Sunday – crazy!! We’re all beside ourselves with excitement to hole up for the next few months and immerse ourselves in this project – it’s been a long time coming. THANK YOU all again for your support and for my Kickstarter backers for making this record a reality – I really do think about that all the time and my gratitude knows no bounds. Check out this video of a new tune that will be on the record called “Hummingbird Heart,” live from our last gig at the Knitting Factory for the Tinderbox Music Festival. Thanks to Sam Teichman for the great video!

Finally, I will be making a very important announcement in the next week or so. Big things are ahead for the remainder of 2011…stay tuned my friends.
